About Aegoceros

Aegoceros — from the Greek αἰγόκερως, the sea-goat: half-goat, half-fish. The classical name for Capricornus, which has been my sign for as long as I have had one.

The sea-goat is a creature of two elements — mountain and water, surface and depth. It is the symbol I wanted on the front door of whatever I built for the long term.

Aegoceros is a single roof for a small number of concentrated, long-horizon positions. It holds operating interests in companies I have founded or co-built, and, selectively, angel positions in early-stage founders where the fit is unambiguous.

It is not a fund. It does not raise outside capital. It is the place where my own conviction is stored.
